Blizzardy Springs

So my friend took us out for blizzards today. I wanted to pay, but she insisted. She is VERY sweet. It is a buy one get one for $0.25 deal. NICE. There were 5 of us so we bought six, and then started our search for someone who needed a blizzard. We walked down mainstreet. My friends looked into a flowershop and said that maybe she needed a blizzard. I did not want to give her a blizzard, however. I once had gone in there looking for a job. The owner wasn't welcoming or mothering or stereotypically kind. Needless to say, she did not give me the job. Such a small thing, but I did not want to give her the blizzard. We gave her the blizzard. She looked a little big shocked, said oh, thank you, and turned to walk away. I do not feel SO bad, now that her lack of "gushing affection" is not just directed at me.

Why do I have this idea that we should only give people blizzards who are nice to us, and thank us with tears and hugs. Why should I expect payment for a gift? I do. I do not want to though. It could be fun, you know, trying to give to those who don't give back? Remind me to do this, invisible reader. I think it may be difficult.

One more final to go. Then a paper. Then I am done.
